About us
An independent website about the home and garden, written from sources you can check.
What we cover
The home and garden: practical guides for looking after both, news that matters to the people who do, and articles that explain how things work.
Where our information comes from
We work from sources a reader can open and check, and we name and link them. When something cannot be confirmed, the article says so.
Independent by design
We do not accept payment for coverage. The site has no affiliate links and carries no advertising. If that ever changes, this page and our policies will say so first.
Who we are
The site is run by two people, with AI tools doing most of the research and writing. We set the rules those tools work to, take responsibility for what the site publishes and correct it when it is wrong. Read what is checked, and by whom, in our editorial policy.
Ciprian Jitaru
Founder & Editor
